The Defendant may file a Daubert motion to exclude the testimony of a Plaintiff's expert witness, for example, when an expert witness is not qualified to testify or when their reports do not sufficiently detail a claim of infringement. The Defendant may also file in limine motions in order to exclude evidence from trial, such as evidence that is irrelevant, unreliable, or more prejudicial than probative.
