The Patent Owner will typically file a claim for patent infringement in a Federal District Court.  The complaint will set out the grounds for infringement, which typically includes a claim chart and preliminary analysis of the claim elements as applied to the accused product(s).  I will evaluate the complaint at no charge and propose a strategy moving forward, as well as an estimate of the legal fees for each stage of the litigation and an estimate on the probability of settlement or success at trial.  If you agree with my strategy and estimated legal fees, I will perform a preliminary prior art search at no charge in order to supplement my strategic proposal.
